Our facilities include a Drama studio, which has the gardens as a backdrop. Makeup and various costumes are provided to suit the occasion! Every year the school has an end of year production open to the public and is a popular event.

The Music suite has facilities for recording and practice studios, plus the main teaching room. Music Tuition is available in wind and brass instruments and the school has active and well regarded Concert, Jazz and Dixie Bands.
The Choir takes an active roll in competitions. Subway Stage Challenge and Smokefree Rock Quest competitions are encouraged so that students can extend their talents to the stage.
In 2004 Dargaville High School were the Regional Winners.
